What Is Ionia?

Ionia is an island continent where the material world and the spirit realm are closely intertwined. Its identity is not built around a single capital issuing orders to a unified nation. Communities, sacred places, local traditions and spiritual orders form a more varied landscape of authority and belonging.

That relationship with the land is active. Ionian architecture, customs and practices often seek accommodation with a living environment rather than mastery over an inert one. Balance does not mean that every place is peaceful or that every spirit is harmless. It describes a relationship requiring attention, restraint and difficult choices.
